Full on week of travelling across England to see family and friends! So far travelled about 400 miles with petrol (gas) prices at £1.32 a litre! Thats over $8 a gallon!! blimey!
Totally got away with no excess baggage even though I had 2 big bags that were over sized and 3 pieces of v heavy hand luggage!!
Its lovely being home and catching up with all the news, meeting and seeing the new babies, eating British food and seeing England again!
Highlights so far:
- Bike ride in the country with my brother and Sacha the dog - finished off with huge cheese and onion pasties and flapjack!
- Walking through Ashton court with Lisa catching up and discussing our travel plans for Africa
- Meeting little Leni in Bristol for the first time
- Catching up with Jo in Manchester and going out for Thai - thanks Jo!
- Seeing my niece again and my twin sister, her friend Carol
- Meeting my mums new fiancee Neil before the wedding on Sat!
